This is a once in a while rose; perhaps 10 to 15% of the time at best but, when you have one of those once in a while blooms it is so good it will win Queen of show hands down against all others. It does not work well in challenge classes as more often than not when you have an exceptional rose it will over power the others in the entry. It is attractive in the garden as the red and yellow coloration stand out but must be sprayed regularly for black spot and mildew and spot sprayed at certain times during the year. If you want a Queen of show this is your rose but, understand that it will take some extra effort.
